In this video, Drs. Milan Izak, Andrea Izakova, Katarina Selecks-Mozuchova and Filip Schwarz from Slovakia manage a patient with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and extreme myopia. The 58-year-old patient presented with blue ectatic sclera, pavingstone degeneration at the peripheral retina and secondary glaucoma 2 years prior. Her IOP was stable on local glaucoma therapy. Recently, she developed hypotony due to a hidden leakage through the extremely thin sclera. A genetic examination revealed systemic elastorhexis, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.
