    Dr. Soosan Jacob discusses complications that may arise during IOL injection. In this case, the lens did not enter correctly and broke, making it difficult to insert the second haptic. Because the lens would not remain centered, she introduced a new lens and then used viscoelastic to facilitate removal of the broken one.
