Dr. Rohit Adyanthaya shows how he averted explanting an IOL in a 56-year-old patient referred for an irregular pupil and IOL dislocation following trauma. Records and fundus exams were suggestive of inadequate capsular support for the existing Akreos IOL. Using Goretex suture, Dr. Adyanthaya sutures the IOL to the sclera prior to fixing the irregular pupil.
