Dr. Ahmed Assaf shows how he managed a patient with massive lens subluxation due to a blunt trauma injury. Zonular dialysis extended beyond 180 degrees and the crystalline lens was dangling in the posterior chamber. First, a dispersive OVD was injected above and below the crystalline lens to support the lens before puncturing the anterior capsule to start the rhexis. He further describes how he stabilizes and centers the lens.
