Optic Disc Pit Maculopathy With ILM Flap and Patch

Dr. Marcelo Zas and colleagues manage a case of optic disc pit and a secondary retinal detachment with macula off. The 40-year-old patient received laser treatment 12 months prior to presentation with no improvement. The authors perform a 25-gauge pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) with a complete posterior vitreous detachment (PVD) and create an internal limiting membrane (ILM) flap and patch.
