In this video, Drs. Riley Sanders and Sami Uwaydat demonstrate their technique to remove a dislocated posterior chamber IOL. They remove the dislocated lens and implant a scleral-sutured Akreos AO60 lens using 27-gauge pars plana vitrectomy and a scleral tunnel. Instead of forceps, a 27-gauge Flex Loop (Alcon) is used to secure the 8-0 Gore-Tex suture for externalization prior to tying the knot.
