This video introduces two presbyopia-correcting lenses: PowerVision's FluidVision accommodating IOL and Elenza's autofocal electroaccomodative IOL. The FluidVision uses the natural forces in the eye in combination with fluid in the lens to change shape and produce accommodation. Insertion of the IOL follows the same steps as standard cataract surgery and uses a 5.5- to 6.0-mm capsulorhexis. The Elenza IOL is the first to use electromechanical energy to increase depth of focus, producing true accommodation without lens movement.
