Cornea/External Disease
Dr. Muralidhar Ramappa and colleagues share the case of an 8-year-old boy who developed near total acute corneal hydrops following trauma with a ball. Examination revealed 360-degree posterior membrane dehiscence in the mid-peripheral region. This case was managed using partial-thickness compression sutures. Remarkable clearing of the cornea was noted within 24 hours, and visual acuity was restored to normal in a week's time.
