Dr. Liliana Werner and colleagues present the scientific basis and practical use of a laser treatment known as femtosecond laser IOL refractive index shaping to adjust IOL power in vivo. The system uses green light (520 nm) and 28 μJ of energy to rearrange the chemical bonds with the polymeric material.

Dr. Werner discusses the technique in this interview from AAO 2017.
