Anterior segment foreign bodies pose a challenge as they tend to be embedded in the angle, as in this particular case, which may interfere with localization. Techniques like gonioscopy or ultrasound biomicroscopy are helpful in determining its exact location. If the foreign body is encapsulated, its retrieval may further injure surrounding structures. Iris injury may lead to bleeding, and lens touch may result in cataract formation. Careful planning and minimal manipulation of the surrounding structures help to yield an excellent visual outcome.
