In this clinical video, Dr. Michael Snyder demonstrates how scissors can be used to aid in iris reconstruction. He uses either Vannas or microscissors in 4 separate cases—blunt trauma, significant iris damage, dense amblyopia stemming from tunica vasculosa lentis, and epithelial downgrowth with extropion uveae—and is able to achieve good functional and cosmetic outcomes.
