Removal of intraocular foreign bodies—metallic or non-metallic—presents a major concern during vitrectomies. Drs. Singh and Bajgai demonstrate how to retrieve a large glass foreign body using a 25-gauge silicon tip-assisted aspiration technique. Using this method, the foreign body can be picked up and lifted with ease, which is later removed through the limbal route. This procedure also helps to avoid slippage and intragenic breaks.
