In this surgical video, Dr. Ciro Tamburrelli shares his "stork technique" for removing large intraocular foreign bodies. The method involves bringing 5-0 nonabsorbable suture close to the object and surrounding it with the aid of 2-pronged forceps, creating a loop that closes in the “beak.” This avoids potential damage to the retina and choroid that may be induced during grasping of the foreign body.
