    Subconjunctival Scleral Rupture During Cataract Surgery

    In this video, Drs. Yevgeny Gurmizov and Kirill Pershin from Russia present a case of subconjunctival scleral rupture in cataract surgery. During IOL implantation, the patient experienced subconjunctival scleral rupture with iris insertion. Drs. Gurmizov and Pershin describe management of the rupture. The postoperative period was normal, with the lens in proper position. The scleral suture was removed 6 months later.
