In this surgical video, Dr. Luis Fernandez-Vega Cueto-Felgueroso describes how to use a Canabrava Ring. In this case, the 70-year-old male patient was taking antiprostatic drugs. His pupil had poor dilation, so the team decided to use a novel Canabrava Ring to maintain the pupil. In addition, they used femtosecond laser to help maneuver in a shallow anterior chamber and for better centration of the capsulorhexis. Because the patient wanted to read without glasses, the surgeons used a trifocal intraocular lens and capsular tension ring to achieve capsular bag stability.
