Dr. Davinder Grover demonstrates the basic steps and a few surgical pearls for proper and efficient placement of the XEN45 gel stent (Allergan) for the treatment of refractory open-angle glaucoma. The device, recently approved by the FDA, provides an ab interno approach to subconjunctival filtration surgery, and is often used in conjunction with mitomycin C.
