After phacoemulsification, a residual posterior capsule inflammatory membrane was removed with a posterior capsulorhexis followed by anterior vitrectomy. Viscoelastic is added to stabilize the posterior capsulorhexis followed by implantation of a single-piece IOL in the capsular bag.
