This video presents a novel technique of viscoelastic delamination of centric retrolental fibrovascular plaque in persistent fetal vasculature syndrome. During delamination, the retrolental space was explored and viscoelastic was injected and dispersed to push the plaque posteriorly. With the technique, the plaque was separated entirely with ease and the postoperative examination revealed an almost clear lens.
