Vitrectomy for Progressive Coats' Exudative Retinal Detachment

A 28-year-old male with history of Coats' disease in the right eye refractory to previous cryotherapy, laser photocoagulation, and intravitreal anti-VEGF therapy developed progressive exudative retinal detachment. Drs. Rahimy and Fineman decide to perform a pars plana vitrectomy together with endodrainge of subretinal fluid and cholesterol deposits, along with additional laser photocoagulation and silicone oil endotamponade.
