This course provides a brief overview of Descemet stripping endothelial keratoplasty (DSEK) and Descemet membrane endothelial keratoplasty (DMEK), elegant techniques for selective replacement of dysfunctional corneal endothelium that have revolutionized corneal transplantation. The course is based on IRIS Registry measures IRIS1: Endothelial Keratoplasty: Postoperative Improvement in BCVA to 20/40 or Better; and IRIS38: Endothelial Keratoplasty: Dislocation Requiring Surgical Intervention.
