Retina/Vitreous
This prospective case series of 94 patients (96 eyes) finds that triamcinolone acetonide facilitated visualization of the ILM. Mean visual acuity improved from 0.26 to 1.0 at the final visit (mean 17 months), with 94 percent achieving improved visual acuity.
Postoperative complications included retinal detachment in one patient and transient IOP elevation in five patients.
