    I. Howard Fine, MD, Richard S. Hoffman, MD, and Mark Packer, MD, FACS, provide their view on the current and possible future options for presbyopia correcting IOLs.

Many surgeons have not had the benefit of the breadth and depth of knowledge of Fine, Hoffman, and Packer on this subject. They conclude that refractive lens exchange will be the dominant refractive procedure in the very near future. They also provide a primer on the five categories of modern IOLs for the correction of presbyopia.

I think they did a great job reviewing the field with appropriate illustrations. It would be useful for surgeons everywhere to see this review.
