Researchers reviewed records for 17 patients (17 eyes) who developed noninfectious endophthalmitis a mean of 1.9 days after injection. Mean visual acuity at diagnosis was 20/4444, which improved to 20/56 at last follow-up (mean of 57.6 days after injection). Mean foveal thickness improved from 432 µm on injection day to 301 µm at final follow-up. Final vision and mean foveal thickness improved to better than pre-injection levels in all patients.
