Dr. Orwa Nasser presents the 3-step (Parks-Bielschowsky) test, which is used to diagnose hypertropia due to superior oblique palsy. The first step is to perform the cover-uncover and alternate-cover tests to diagnose which eye is hypertropic. After that, the alternative-cover test is performed on the left and right gazes and then on left and right head tilts.
