Glaucoma, Surgical Management
Dr. María Parrilla Vallejo demonstrates a surgical revision of the PreserFlo MicroShunt in a 79-year-old patient with failed glaucoma surgery in the left eye. After removal of the peritubular fibrosis, the device still did not function properly, so it was repositioned with nylon 9-0 sutures. Flow through the PreserFlo MicroShunt resumed and good postoperative IOP control was achieved without needing to change the device.
