Getting Started with CME Joint Providership
The Academy partners with State Societies, Subspecialty organizations, and other non-profits to produce high-quality accredited continuing education for the ophthalmic community, called "joint providership." Take advantage of our expertise and in-depth knowledge of the CME planning and evaluation process to create content that effects measurable change in physician practice. We support you through the program development process and through the implementation of changes to your program based on evaluation feedback. We can also apply for unrestricted educational grant funds on your behalf.
The ACCME expects all CME activities to be in compliance with the Accreditation Criteria (including the Standards for Commercial Support) and Accreditation Policies. In cases of joint providership, it is the ACCME accredited provider [The Academy]'s responsibility to demonstrate through written documentation this compliance to the ACCME.
