    AAO 2022 Video Program
    Retina/Vitreous, Vitreoretinal Surgery

This video demonstrates the utilization of the anterior chamber maintainer (ACM) in open-globe injuries in all zones. The ACM is self-retained tubing that is gravity fed and maintains the anterior chamber. The ACM helps in managing various conditions in ocular trauma and is particularly useful in selective cases of open-globe injuries, as viscoelastic used as an adjuvant can be harmful. Overall, the ACM is a simple, cost-effective tool to repair open-globe injuries.
