Glaucoma Update: Escalating Therapy Upon OCT or VF Change

    2020 Glaucoma Subspecialty Day

    Complications, Diagnostic & Imaging, Glaucoma

In this presentation, Dr. Joanne Wen discusses when to escalate glaucoma therapy once change has been detected on the OCT or visual field. Macular OCT changes can be helpful in confirming retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) progression, and knowing risk factors for fast visual field progression facilitates confirmatory testing to support sooner escalation of therapy.
