Ankyloblepharon
Ankyloblepharon is a partial (ankyloblepharon filiforme adnatum) or complete fusion of the eyelid margins (Fig 10-6). These webs of skin can usually be opened with scissors after being clamped for a few seconds with a hemostat. In severe cases, underlying ocular abnormalities may exist.
