Materials for patients
Resource materials and information about the many agencies and services should be provided to all patients. The American Academy of Ophthalmology’s vision rehabilitation patient handout is available for download in English for ophthalmologists to give to patients (available at www.aao.org/low-vision-and-vision-rehab). It provides essential tips for making the most of remaining vision and offers a list of resources, including a website that allows patients to search for services in their community.
