  • Dr. Sloan is a fellow in glaucoma at The University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. He completed a residency in ophthalmology at the Kreiger Eye Institute at Sinai Hospital and an internship in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins University/Sinai Hospital, both in Baltimore. He attended medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.

    Dr. Sloan has conducted research on the use of the adenosine receptor agonist CHA to modulate outflow facility and on the effect of infectious corneal ulcers on corneal endothelial cell function.
