  • Dr. Tabbara is medical director of the Eye Center and the Eye Foundation for Research in Ophthalmology, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and adjunct professor at the Wilmer Ophthalmological Institute of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland. His former positions include professor and chair of the Department of Ophthalmology, College of Medicine, King Saud University, Riyadh, research director of King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital, Riyadh, and associate professor of ophthalmology at the Department of Ophthalmology and the Francis I. Proctor Foundation, University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Tabbara's main area of interest is corneal and external disease and uveitis.
