Dr. Chen is an associate professor of ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School, director of clinical affairs for the Glaucoma Service at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary (MEEI) and chief quality officer for ophthalmology at MEEI. After graduating first in her class from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute-Albany Medical College six-year accelerated biomedical program, she completed an internal medicine internship at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Following ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary, Dr. Chen completed a glaucoma fellowship at MEEI supported by a Heed fellowship. She has received an Achievement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
