Corneal Perforation Repair Ab Interno

We present a case of a lady with active rheumatoid melt inducing keratolysis and corneal perforation. We performed a combined phacoemulsification and corneal perforation repair with a piece of DSAEK tissue placed internally through the phaco wound. This led to significantly improved visual outcome, faster rehabilitation and reduced complication risk.
