No-Touch Technique for Conjunctival Squamous Cell Carcinoma Removal

This video highlights the steps for successful removal of conjunctival squamous cell carcinoma. Dr. Marr performs an epitheliectomy, then uses a Beaver blade to scroll the lesion toward the limbus; care is taken not to violate the Bowman membrane. A no-touch technique is applied to resect lesion with 2 mm margins, followed by a partial lamellar keratoscleroconjunctivectomy. After removing the lesion, alcohol is applied to the surgical base and an additional lamellar sclerectomy is performed. The surgery concludes with double freeze-thaw cryotherapy and closure of the conjunctiva with sutures.
