    Triple-Tunnel AGV Tube Placement

7th Annual Global Video Contest - 2nd Place Winner

    Glaucoma

This video shows the intra-scleral portion of AGV tube being implanted through three scleral tunnels (3 mm long each). The three tunnels are connected making a long interrupted tunnel. The distal tunnel will assist in plate fixation as well. The second and third tunnels allow curving of the tube on the sclera. Eventually, the plate is fixed 12 mm from the limbus and the tube is completely buried inside the sclera.
