Importance of Diversity in the Workplace

She explains diversity can come from many avenues such as different socioeconomic backgrounds, gender and inclusion of underrepresented minorities. However, it is important to go beyond checking numbers and really foster inclusion and cultivate talent from different backgrounds. Diversity can bring important new viewpoints to the team, encourage positive and creative problem-solving and help tackle disparities in health care.
