Are there recent results of success with Tecnis Symfony in post-LASIK patients?

Question:
Are there recent results of success with Tecnis Symfony in post-LASIK patients? I had LASIK 20 years ago and have my pre- and post-vision results/eye measurements. I have some astigmatism, but not severe. I am ready for cataract surgery but do not want to settle for a monofocal lens. Are there advanced procedures now available to help determine selection and placement of the latest Tecnis Symfony multifocal lenses in post-LASIK patients?
Answer:
Yes, Symfony can be placed in someone who has had LASIK in the past but is not embraced by all surgeons. There are pre-op measurements such as aberration values that can help determine if you are a good candidate as well. Discuss pros and cons with your surgeon.
