Can I have LASIK if I need a pantoscopic tilt to see clearly?

Question:
I need a pantoscopic tilt (when glasses are tilted at a certain angle) to see clearly—will LASIK take this measurement into consideration? Is it possible to wear glasses after LASIK to correct this? What about contact lenses?
Answer:
That is a glasses issue and should not affect your vision after the LASIK procedure. Certainly, if there is a problem, you can wear glasses or contacts after LASIK. I would have your surgeon check your eye muscles prior to the procedure.
