Can I practice yoga safely if I have floaters?

Question:
I am in my mid-‘20s and have myopia of about -3.75 diopters in each eye. I have also been experiencing floaters and flashes in my vision for some years now. My doctor told me the latter are the results of the changing structure of my uvea and there is nothing to worry about until their appearance stays stable. My question is whether I can continue practicing yoga safely given these conditions. I am sort of an experienced practitioner by now, therefore I do some inverted poses as well.
Answer:
Yes, you may continue practicing yoga safely without concerns that it will cause any retina or uveal damage.
