NOV 28, 2014
Can Vectibix (a drug used to treat cancer) cause keratitis of the eye?
Yes. It can cause a dry eye syndrome or worsen previous dry eye syndrome. If dryness is severe, punctate erosions (a breakdown of the outer surface layer of the eye) known as punctate keratitis may develop on the cornea as a result of severe dryness. Various treatments are available to adequately treat the dry eye keratitis.
