    Can you use contact rewetting eye drops to moisten your bare eye? I don’t wear contact lenses.


    Answer:

    You can use an unopened contact lens rewetting solution in your eyes as an alternative to over-the-counter ordinary lubricating eyedrops. It is designed to be put directly in the eye and will help lubricate your eye. However, never use contact lens rewetting solution that has been opened and used by someone else.
