Do you have any advice for clearing haze after PRK surgery?

Question:
I had PRK surgery 18 months ago but am still suffering from haze in both eyes meaning my vision is not clear. My doctor keeps putting me on numerous courses of Predforte/Fluforte, which temporarily improves the problem but then gradually the eyes deteriorate again. Some days are better than others, but generally the vision is no better than 20/30. Do you have any advice on what I can do to improve the haze?
Answer:
It is difficult to assess the situation without knowing the original treatment and without knowing the exact course of treatment. I would recommend a second opinion with a corneal specialist who performs PRK/LASIK. Sometimes a scraping of the haze and treatment with an anti-fibrosis chemical treatment (mitomycin C) may be of help.
