How should I treat a wasp sting of my eyeball?
MAY 20, 2017
Question:
A wasp just stung my eyeball. What action should I take?
Answer:
I would wash the eye out with liquid tears and use cold wash cloths multiple times throughout the day. You need to see an ophthalmologist to make sure the stinger is not still in the soft tissues around the eyes. I have removed a stinger from an eye before in a situation like this. Schedule an appointment as soon as you can.
