  • Will idle LASIK machines work correctly after the pandemic?

    I had LASIK surgery canceled due to COVID-19. Thinking ahead, when things reopen, should I be worried about the laser alignment and machine calibration since they’ve been sitting idle for so long?


    Answer:

    No worries at all. These lasers are solid state and are calibrated each day that they are used, and they are retested by staff before each treatment.
