    I had PRK done 2 weeks ago. Is it normal to feel like there is an eyelash in my eye? I know in the beginning it can feel like that, but it just came on so suddenly.


    Answer:

    First, sometimes an eyelash is just an eyelash. However, an unhealed area of epithelium (outermost layer of the cornea) on the surface of the cornea can feel like something in the eye is well. It is vital that you see your surgeon as soon as possible to see what the issue is.
