     Can multiple sclerosis (MS) be associated with macular degeneration or uveitis?

    Answer:

    While MS has not been associated with macular degeneration (or AMD, age-related macular degeneration), it can be associated with uveitis.  In fact, recent studies have suggested that uveitis is significantly more common among those with MS versus the general population, although the precise incidence and prevalence varies.
