Is there any surgery for a myelinated retina? If not, is there any hope for one in the future? My son has very little vision in his left eye and it wanders.
Unfortunately, there is no surgery for a myelinated retina (a condition one is born with that causes lesions on the retina, the light sensitive tissue in the back of the eye). At this time, I am unaware of any ongoing research that would address this.
