My 5-year-old daughter is taking moxifloxacin for pink eye and is scheduled for an eye exam. Will this medication interfere with her dilated eye exam?
This medication will not harm the ability of the ophthalmologist to examine the eyes as well as dilate her pupils. However, if your daughter's pink eye remains symptomatic, ask her eye care provider if they want to reschedule so as to avoid spreading the infection.
