  • Retina and Cataract Surgery at Same Time?

    Question:

Can retinal wrinkle repair in both eyes be done at the same time as one cataract surgery?

    Answer:

No. Since one procedure is in the back of the eye (the retina) and the other (cataract) is at the front of the eye, they will usually be performed by different surgeons and at different times for best results.
